Tens of thousands of Hasidic Jews from all over the world undertook the annual pilgrimage to the small Hungarian village of Bodrogkeresztúr, known as Kerestir in Yiddish, to visit the grave of revered Rabbi Yeshaya Steiner. Reb Shayele is considered to be a “miracle rabbi” who had supernatural powers of healing.
